Got a preliminary teaching credential for special education teacher, taught both Special Day Classes for children with moderate to severe autism in school districts and inclusive classes in a charter school.
Mom of a son with autism. She has closely followed his ABA therapy, speech therapy, OT, and PT. Since March 2023, she has been his homeschooling teacher, successfully bringing him to 4th-grade level in Math and English using her signature sensory-loaded, hands-on approach.
She is also mom to a typically developing daughter, giving her a full picture of how both kids with autism and kids of typical development grow, play and learn.
